HMS 1 (Variante): Rottame pesante da forno numero 1. Rottame di ferro battuto e/o acciaio con spessore di 6,35 mm (1/4 di pollice) o superiore. Pezzi singoli non superiori a 91 x 46 cm (dimensioni della bocca di caricamento) preparati per garantire un carico compatto.

HMS 2: Rottame pesante da forno numero 2. Rottame di ferro battuto e acciaio nero e zincato, con spessore di 3,17 mm (1/8 di pollice) o superiore, con dimensioni adatte a includere materiale non idoneo come rottame pesante da forno numero 1. Il materiale deve essere preparato per garantire un carico compatto.
